Every cat is unique and special and they all deserve affection and attention. They all have their own unique fur markings. Some have pink toe beans while the others have black ones. Some happen to have curly whiskers while the others have lush and long whiskers. Regardless of how they look, though, all of them are gorgeous and thanks to social media we get to see and appreciate the beauty of the unique cats in the world.

As cat lovers, we should be grateful for the existence of social media as we get to see lots of beautiful cats on a daily basis thanks to it. Even though we love all cats, some manage to stand out more due to their unique fur patterns or weird quirks. This couple from the Isle of Man, United Kingdom, packed their suitcases to celebrate their 40th birthday in New York. However, they were totally unaware of the bizarre turn the things would take. Nick and Voirrey Coole took their suitcases and headed towards the airport, and everything seemed to be just fine. However, shortly after their arrival, they got stopped by airport security after a cat was found in one of their bags! Turned out that their cat, Candy, wasn’t happy about being left behind, so she decided to climb into their hand luggage, only to be discovered later by airport security.

Tora is a one-year-old Scottish Straight cat that enjoys going on adventures with her human, David Durst, while sitting in the passenger seat in his truck. So far, the duo has visited 43 states, and you can see the photos of their trips on Instagram. 24-year-old David had problems when he tried to adopt a feline companion as the agencies thought that a truck is not a suitable place for the kitty to live. He was just about to give up, but then he received this photo of an eight-week-old kitten sent by a breeder.

Nelly, Gilbert, and Nala are three adorable kitties who are living with their humans in Copenhagen, the most crowded city and the capital of Denmark. Even though their mothers were all different, they consider themselves sisters and brothers of a family. They are very fond of each other.

According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to the Animals (ASPCA), there are approximately at least 70 million stray cats living in the United States only. Even though a lot of those cats are being found and taken to animal shelters, there are still too many suffering in the streets, waiting to be rescued. We know that adopting a new feline friend from an animal shelter is one of the best ways to get a pet, but it’s not the only way available if you want a cat. Take these two kittens, for example. They were rescued off of the street in the most bizarre circumstance, and we can’t be happier about it.

We see most people walk their dogs on a leash, and very rarely it’s a cat rather than a dog. If you are wondering whether that’s a good idea or not, we can tell you that yes, it actually is. Cats don’t really keep humans company during walks just like dogs do, but if you have the time and patience to get your cat to take walks with you, it can be a very beneficial activity for both of you. We are perfectly aware of all the health benefits of walks for humans, but pretty much the same is also true for your feline companions as well! As you probably know, many humane societies and animal advisers aren’t really supportive of the idea of cats being allowed to come and go as they please, so taking a cat out on a walk is the best way for them to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors in a safe way. Outdoors cats are at a greater risk of illness and injury compared to indoor cats, so if you don’t have a secure enclosure, walking them on a leash is a much safer option.
